Did you know that researchers in UCLA discovered that neurofeedback therapy has the potential to alleviate symptoms of “brain fog” and cognitive impairments associated after chemotherapy treatment.

Some of the brain symptoms individuals face after chemotherapy:
- Problems with memory
- Concentration and organization
- Trouble sleeping
- Emotional difficulties

The participants in the study received a series of 18 neurofeedback sessions, scheduled for 30 minutes each over a six-week period. Quantitative EEGs taken after the 18 neurofeedback sessions were completed found that brain wave frequencies had significantly normalized or improved in participants.

The study was published in the Journal of Complementary and Integrative Medicine.
